Nigeria is a phenomenal country with a bright future, a young population, diverse cultural assets and a wealth of resources. I AM NIGERIA is a non-governmental organization, Committed to Building a TRULY GREAT NATION. We believe that we can achieve this greatness by focusing on our strengths and potential, as well as addressing our challenges pragmatically.
We are a development driven organization, focused on mobilizing resources, nurturing relationships and building partnerships with stakeholders to solve some of Nigeria’s biggest problems: Education, Health, Economy and Governance.
OUR VISION IS TO CREATE A NIGERIA THAT IS:
United: A Nigeria where we all work together to build a better future for ourselves and our children;
Prosperous: A Nigeria where everyone has the opportunity to succeed and achieve their dreams;
Just: A Nigeria where everyone is treated with respect, regardless of who they are.
Together, we can make Nigeria great.
Quality Education is vital to Nigeria’s future and school teachers in Primary and Secondary schools are the enablers. While many of them are qualified, very few if none have received any type of professional training in the last 5 years.
Good Governance starts with Youth Participation and Representation. In Nigeria, the youth demography is a creative and a potent force that is catalyzing important changes and transforming the landscape of poverty.
Women’s Leadership and Economic Development is imperative to the growth and development of Nigeria; it makes both moral and economic sense. The Leadership and Economic Development of a Nigerian Woman is not only in her interest, it’s in our national best interest.
This annual event has been a pool for women and girls from across Nigeria to discuss the challenges of women in various professions as a means for shared knowledge, networks and mentorship
I AM NIGERIA INITIATIVE engages over 100 Teachers across the Federal Capital Territory.
The Award is a high-powered networking and dinner ceremony set aside to recognize and celebrate Super Inspiring Women Achievers in Politics, Business, Media, NGOs, CSOs and in Public Office.
This is a bimonthly Magazine that Promotes Our People, Our Culture and Places. The publication is made possible by Individuals and Organizations who subscribe and advertise on it.
